I think for my beginning level students I would definately use Photostory. It is easier to use and create videos with. Any slide show, or "how to" project would be great for this program.
For my more advanced students I would have them use Animoto. I would also use Animoto for personal use, fun videos, cool vacations. The music and action is really exciting. I think my students would love this program for making online collages concerning a subject.
Here is my PhotoStory video: (TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN) Sorry, you were warned!
That looks awesome!! I really enjoyed photo story as well. I can see using this a lot in my ouwn classroom or for personal use as well. I did not like Animoto as much since I couldn't talk.
ReplyDeleteI now want a smoothie. I like the idea of online collages, it would be a cool portfolio tool in that way.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun!! Great job! Did you figure out why your volume was so high? Were you really close to the mic? It sounds pretty clear even low. I still haven't figured out how to get my Photo Story to upload to YouTube. Any hints?
ReplyDeleteYes, save your video to your desktop. Go to youtube.com and open up a youtube account (if you haven't got one already). Once you are in your account, go to upload new video. Now hit browse and locate your saved video on your desktop. Click on the file and then choose upload. Within a few minutes the video will upload. Note: (Mine was saved as a .wmv file)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the Smoothie presentation..
ReplyDeleteGood presentation. Can you taste the spinach in the smoothie? I love smoothies but have never had vegetables in them. I did not upload my Photo Story to youtube. When I created the blog there was an icon to click to add a video. It took a few minutes to upload but it worked.
ReplyDeleteI have green smoothies every morning! My favorite is blueberry, spinach, chia seeds, and flax. Thank you for presenting something juicy!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so yummy. I can't wait to try one! Thanks for the great tutorial.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it was hard to add text.. well harder than photostory. Great job, love the video!
ReplyDeleteMy friend has been juicing. Last was beet fruity juice. She said the apples... or was it oranges... took the flavor of the beet away. I'll have to try this and see for myself. Great video!
