Why I chose Blogger and its Benefits

There are a couple reasons why I chose Blogger.com.  First off, I liked the name in that it is easy to remember.  Secondly, it had lots of great designs and easy to use features to really make my blog visually stimulating. 

Hosting a blog would be a huge benefit to my students.  I titled my blog, "The Parking Lot", because I would like the students to "park" their ideas,comments, and questions after class when they can't ask me in person.  I could also use my blog to link my students to various websites that go deeper into the topic than what I had time to cover in class.  It is also a great way to keep parents up to date on what we are doing and studying in class.
